Born and raised in NB Looking for an authentic Donair? Shane d his team are the best around. Amazing portions and incredible flavour. I see a lot of reviews complaining about the price... Check out the prices of a place like Ozmos. Nowhere near the quality and most times are more expensive. Support this local business and you won't be disappointed! Love it! Thanks for the donairs!
I'll give 5 star because it was a delicious donair. The pita was huge but there was hardly anything in it. My sisters bf ordered a large and it was no bigger than mine and had only 3 pieces of meat he said it defintly don't compare to the size of donairs in gander NL
Love love love so delicious and a great taste of back home. Best donair I've had outside of Nova Scotia ever and whatever they do to the pita I'm telling you it is amazing! Only wishing the XL was a bit bigger.

Was not expecting to find authentic Nova Scotia style donair here on the east side! Down East Donairs brings that East side canadian flavor to the east side GTA! The donair slices are thick and perfectly caramelized on the edges, the donair sauce is sweet and zesty! If you've never had Nova Scotia style donair and want to save money on a plane ticket then come to Down East!
My jobsite was right around the corner from this little gem and I couldn't wait to grab some lunch!! The donair was absolutely delicious and jammed packed!!! The meat was juicy with crispy edges and wow that sauce!!!! It all came together in that perfect wrap, I got my donair with all the fixins. I also wanted to say how awesome the service was, super kind. If your in the area please do your taste buds a favor and stop in!!!!
Love this place! Down East Donairs for the win. Brought a couple of Donairs home for lunch. They are authentic and very tasty. A great treat and affordable. Like 9 for the large size pictured and loaded with meat and veggies. Perfect with both hot/sweet sauce like we get them.. It's definitely worth stopping in. The owners are very nice.
Best Donairs in the city! Nothing fancy, just the one type of donair meat but it's extremely good! Top quality and service at a reasonable price. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food is always fresh and hot. Good selection of beverages. Definitely worth the stop if you are looking for a flavorful quick bite to eat!!
